PRESS GUIDELINES – ABBA THE MUSEUM
ABBA The Museum is an interactive museum dedicated to one of the most successful pop groups of all time, with over 380 million records sold worldwide.
Visitors explore ABBA’s history through immersive and participatory experiences, including Polar Studio, interactive music mixing, quizzes, and the opportunity to step on stage with ABBA’s avatars as the fifth member of the band.
Please read the guidelines below for information on how to apply for press accreditation and plan a press visit.
PRESS IMAGES
A selection of high-resolution press images is available for editorial use only.
To request access to press images, please contact [email protected] and include a short description of your planned coverage.
All other image use, including commercial use, requires prior written approval from ABBA The Museum.
PRESS VISITS & PRESS TICKETS
Press visits to ABBA The Museum must be requested at least two (2) weeks in advance and are subject to availability.
We are unable to accommodate last-minute or same-day press visit requests.
All press visits are scheduled in 30-minute time slots and must be adhered to. Extensions are not guaranteed and subject to availability on site.

Incomplete or late requests may not be reviewed.
Interview requests must be specified in advance. On-site interview requests cannot be accommodated.
FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY (PRESS & COMMERCIAL)
All press and commercial filming or photography at ABBA The Museum must be requested at least two (2) weeks in advance and approved prior to the proposed date.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Editorial photography
• Interviews
• Documentaries
• Television productions
• Commercial shoots
All filming and photography within the museum must be supervised by ABBA The Museum staff.
Upon arrival, all crews must check in at the Front Desk at the Main Entrance.
Due to copyright restrictions, filming of TV monitors in the museum is not permitted. Only wide or sweeping shots are allowed. Zooming in on TV monitors is not permitted.
VISITORS & PRIVACY
Filming or photographing museum visitors is not permitted. This includes background footage where visitors may be identifiable.
Any breach of this policy may result in filming being stopped immediately.
MUSIC RIGHTS & DELIVERY
All music rights must be cleared by the production company prior to broadcast, including rights with Universal Music, Polar Music, or other relevant rights holders.
A copy of the final broadcast or published material must be provided to ABBA The Museum following transmission or publication.
